The mission of my life and the creation of this gallery is to contribute to finding a balance where all essential human needs—housing, food, health, education, opportunity, and safety are met while still caring for the planet, all living things, and the natural world. I believe the resources and knowledge already exist to achieve this.
My blog posts will share my thoughts and experiences, exploring ways to bridge these ideas. I believe that through education, especially trauma-informed education, and a sense of safety, people remain open to receiving new perspectives. For me, conservation photography (and filmmaking) is not about forcing ideas or values onto others, but rather about creating opportunities for internal and external connection. It is a tool that allows people to experience the world in ways that open them to new ideas, helping them discover how they, too, can feel connected and fulfilled in life with this planet.
